Ohio County Released Inmates is privately owned and has no affiliation with a government body, sheriff, jail, police department, or corrections agency. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provides consumer reports, private-investigation services, or any service for credit, employment, insurance, housing or tenant screening under the FCRA.
Purpose of the Website
This is a private reference site, not an official Ohio County or West Virginia records system. It does not store government custody files and cannot confirm a person's status, release anyone, file a request, or take action in a court case.
Pages point visitors toward WVDCR searches, regional jail contacts, courts, parole and probation offices, federal locators, and third-party research tools. A link or summary does not turn the source into a service operated by this site.
Acceptable Use Rules
Visitors must use the site and any information reached through it lawfully and responsibly. In particular, a user must not:
- Break a local, state, federal, or other applicable law.
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm another person.
- Use content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited decision.
- Attempt to enter an account, server, or system without authorization.
- Operate automated scrapers, bots, or harvesters against the site.

FCRA Uses Are Prohibited
Ohio County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor its advertising partners provides screening services. A visitor agrees not to use site content or linked search results for:
- Decisions about hiring, firing, or continued employment.
- Housing applications, leases, or tenant screening.
- Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance premiums.

West Virginia Law Applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in West Virginia.
If One Term Fails
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be narrowed only as much as needed. All remaining provisions will continue in effect.
